About me

I'm a specialized Dutch translator with wide experience in both technical and general subject translations since 1999. I translate from Spanish and English to Dutch and occasionally from Dutch into Spanish or English. I also provide text correction and edition services and subtitle correction services.

2001 - 2004: Radboud University Nijmegen, Master of the Arts, graduated cum laude

1995 - 1999: Opleiding Tolk-Vertaler at Hogeschool Maastricht, Bachelor of Translation

Experience

1999 - 2001: Translator and junior project manager at Translators International. 2 years

2005: Translator for software development company. 2 months (this is currently one of my regular clients)

2004 - now: Freelance translator and text editor, also creator and composer of Vertalersnieuws (http://vertalersnieuws.blogspot.com) a Dutch blog for translators, interpreters and subtitlers.
